IT:U Interdisciplinary Transformation University has officially opened applications for its Master Program “Interdisciplinary Computing<\/strong>“, starting February 7, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IT:U welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds. This innovative program is designed to equip graduates with the skills to address real-world challenges by integrating computer science, artificial intelligence, and interdisciplinary problem-solving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting in October 2025, the program emphasizes project-based learning where students engage in hands-on experience with robotics, virtual reality, AI, and other emerging technologies. By working in small, interdisciplinary study groups at IT:U, students will gain not only technical expertise but also the critical-thinking skills necessary for digital transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants can choose from four key specializations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Designing Interactions:<\/strong> Students learn to understand and design interactions between people and digital technology in various social contexts such as mobility, education, or care.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Digital Earth, Society, and Networks:<\/strong> Students engage with understanding social and geographical processes, such as disaster management, epidemics, etc., by analysing digital data, e.g., from social networks, using AI.    <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Digital Humanities, Health, and Life Sciences:<\/strong> Combines interdisciplinary approaches from the digital humanities and life sciences. Students are empowered to use modern technologies and data analysis methods to solve complex challenges in healthcare and biomedical research.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Future Industries: <\/strong>Focuses on developing skills in sustainable computer-aided manufacturing, robotics, Internet-of-Things and innovative technologies, including the design of safety-critical systems and industrial applications. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
