Studying and working in the heart of Europe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our campuses in Linz are located right in the heart of Europe, combining the diverse offerings of a large city with the charm and green surroundings of a regional town. Linz is also a major transportation hub offering numerous possibilities to quickly reach many European cities by car, plane, or train. IT:U operates across two campuses located just a few minutes apart \u2014 the IT:U Education Campus, dedicated to teaching and learning, and the IT:U Research Campus, focused on research and innovation. The administrative teams of IT:U are also based at the Research Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IT:U Education Campus in Linz redefines learning through project-based labs, interdisciplinary teaching, and hands-on collaboration. Students work closely with faculty and peers on real-world projects in small teams, gaining digital skills and practical experience to shape sustainable, societal, and technological transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By car<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To IT:U Education Campus (Science Park 4)
<\/strong>From the A7, coming from Gallneukirchen or Linz, take the Linz-Dornach exit. Continue straight on Altenberger Stra\u00dfe toward JKU\/University. At the traffic lights near the tram terminus, go straight ahead and turn right into JKU\/Science Park. Drive into the underground car park, follow the road to the SCP4 section of the building, and use any available parking space. The reception is located on the 2nd floor. A parking ticket will be provided by our hospitality team at the reception desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To IT:U Research Campus (Freist\u00e4dter Stra\u00dfe 400)
<\/strong>From the A7, take the Linz-Dornach exit and turn right toward Plesching\/Linz-Katzbach. Continue straight, cross the motorway bridge, and turn right into Freist\u00e4dter Stra\u00dfe 400. Take the first left to enter the underground car park, turn right inside, and choose a free parking space. The IT:U Welcome Desk is located on the 1st floor.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n <\/div> \n \n<\/div>\n\n

By public transport<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To IT:U Education Campus
<\/strong>Take the train to Linz main station. Go downstairs to take tram line 1 or 2 to \u201cUniversit\u00e4t.\u201d
It takes about 25 minutes to get to the stop \u201cUniversit\u00e4t.\u201d Walk straight ahead towards JKU\/the university campus, then turn right into the Science Park. Science Park 4 is located at the back and just about a 5-minute walk away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/strong>From Linz main station, take tram line 1 or 2 in the same direction (toward \u201cUniversit\u00e4t\u201d) but get off at \u201cLinke Br\u00fcckenstra\u00dfe.\u201d From there, take bus line 33 and get off at \u201cFurther Weg\u201d station. The IT:U Research Campus (Freist\u00e4dter Stra\u00dfe 400) is just a 1-minute walk from the bus stop.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n \n <\/div> \n \n<\/div>\n\n\n

By plane<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To IT:U Education Campus
<\/strong>Linz\/H\u00f6rsching Airport is about 19 km from IT:U. From the airport, take bus line 601 to the main train station. Then take tram line 1 or 2 to \u201cUniversit\u00e4t.\u201d Walk straight ahead toward JKU\/the university campus and turn right into the Science Park \u2014 Science Park 4 is at the back and only a 5-minute walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To IT:U Research Campus
<\/strong>From the airport, take bus line 601 to Linz main station. Then take tram line 1 or 2 toward \u201cUniversit\u00e4t\u201d and get off at \u201cLinke Br\u00fcckenstra\u00dfe.\u201d From there, transfer to bus line 33 and get off at \u201cFurther Weg.\u201d
