What will we be able to do with it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we look at matter on the atomic scale or smaller, particles do not behave the way we are used to from everyday life. Quantum physics shows, for example, that a particle can, in a sense, pass through two doors <em>at the same time<\/em>. This phenomenon, known as superposition, is exploited by quantum computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While classical computers work with zeros and ones (bits), quantum computers use qubits, which\u2014until they are measured\u2014exist in a superposition of 0 and 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this workshop, participants learn more about the fascinating world of quantum physics and how it can be used for new technologies.
