PhD Program Interdisciplinary Computing

IT:U offers a new 3-year, structured PhD program. The first semester concludes with a PhD Progress Presentation. 

Over the next years, students will develop and write their PhD theses. 

This is accompanied by interdisciplinary research seminars. The PhD program concludes with the submission and defense of the PhD thesis.

The structure of the PhD program Interdisciplinary Computing

The program conveys content and necessary qualifications through a series of modules. A module is defined by specific entry and exit qualifications, the subject matter, teaching methods, the required workload, and the criteria for performance evaluation. Modules are completed in the form of one or more thematically related courses. There are no additional course types beyond those specified in the bylaws.

We value your work! You will be employed at IT:U during your entire PhD. We offer a gross salary in line with the market rate of €2.832,10 on a 30-hour basis.
