Niri Gala
Niri Gala is a PhD student in the DTiL program, with a strong background in mathematics and applied mathematics, as well as mathematical education. She is passionate about integrating AI, dance, and embodied learning into mathematics education. Her research, grounded in the principles of Embodied Cognition, explores how AI and art integration—particularly through dance or creative movement—can enhance learning experiences. Key areas of her work include AI-generated mathematics story films, VR applications for immersive learning, and investigating AI’s potential to personalize education in higher learning contexts.
