What can be said online? Do digital public infrastructures reflect democratic values? How do online platforms interpret the law? What do free and fair elections look like in the digital age? At the Human Rights and Technology Research Group at IT:U, we will study these questions with a focus on democratic digital transformations and socio-legal systems. 

Short bio:

From January 2025, Ben Wagner will be a University Professor for Human Rights and Technology at IT:U. Ben also works at TU Delft and Inholland. He holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from European University Institute in Florence.
