Heidrun Mühle
Short bio:
Heidrun Mühle joined the Geosocial Artificial Intelligence group in early 2025 as a PostDoc. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Vienna, an MBA in Digital Marketing & Data Management, and an MSc in Data Science & Management, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach. Her research aims to investigate how political narratives circulate and spread across social media platforms, exploring their potential impact on democratic cohesion and the pillars of an open society. Additionally, Heidrun actively contributes to the Climate Agents initiative—a citizen science project empowering students to examine local climate impacts through AI-driven, evidence-based storytelling. Beyond academia, she works as a Scrum Master in a Linz-based AI startup and teaches Digital Marketing & Data Science with a strong focus on Trustworthy AI, seamlessly bridging research, agile development, and real-world application.
