Raul Pacheco Sarkar

Short bio:

Raul Pacheco Sarkar is a PhD student with the Digital Molecular Medicine group. His area of interest revolves around applications of data science within the medical field. As such, his research focuses on the usage of digital twins and other in silico models to facilitate clinical trial development of cellular immunotherapies, such as Chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR T) cell therapy. With a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Raul has always been interested in tackling the challenges arising from the interdisciplinarity between molecular biology, clinical practice, and technology.
