Arezoo Sedghi
Short bio:
Arezoo Sedghi is a PhD student in the Geosocial Artificial Intelligence Group at IT:U. Her research explores human behaviors and emotional responses through the analysis of physiological signals. She is also interested in applying explainable AI techniques to multimodal data to better understand how individuals react in various situations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in robotics engineering with a focus on computer vision, and worked in industry on related projects for over three years. Eager to deepen her understanding of emerging technologies and contribute to cutting-edge research, she returned to academia to pursue a master’s degree in electrical engineering, specializing in telecommunication systems. During and after her master’s studies, she contributed to a variety of data analysis projects, ranging from real-time video processing to predictive modeling based on biomedical signal analysis.
