Application Deadline for U.S. Citizens Extended to May 31, 2025
For U.S. students, the application deadline for the Master’s Program in Interdisciplinary Computing at IT:U Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria has been extended to May 31, 2025. The decision was made in response to the current challenges faced by academia in the United States.
IT:U’s doors are open to all scientists: The university emphasizes that interdisciplinarity transcends national borders and that IT:U stands for independent science and scientific integrity.
The Master’s Program is designed for students from various academic backgrounds who are interested in applying computer science, artificial intelligence, and interdisciplinary methods to real-world challenges. Students work in small, collaborative groups and gain practical experience in areas such as robotics, virtual reality, and data-driven technologies. The curriculum offers four specialization tracks: Designing Interactions, Digital Earth, Society, and Networks, Digital Humanities, Health and Life Sciences, and Future Industries. The program will start in October 2025, and applications can be submitted online.
