Open Day x Long Night of Research 2026 at IT:U
On Friday, April 24, 2026, knowledge becomes an experience. The Interdisciplinary Transformation University (IT:U) invites you to its Open Day and to Austria’s largest science event, the Lange Nacht der Forschung, where you can explore the future of research, technology, and interdisciplinary innovation.
From 10:00 to 23:00, IT:U opens its doors for a full-day experience at Science Park 4, JKU Campus Linz. Discover study programs, get personal 1:1 consultations with study experts, and explore your future learning environment through guided lab tours and interactive sessions.
From 17:00 to 23:00, the event seamlessly transitions into the Lange Nacht der Forschung, offering free access to immersive technologies, hands-on research experiences, and 16 interactive stations that bring science and innovation to life.
Across Austria, more than 2,800 program points at around 300 locations will showcase the diversity of the country’s research landscape — and IT:U is proud to be part of this nationwide initiative.
