Studying and working in the heart of Europe
Our campus in Linz is located right in the heart of Europe, combining the diverse offerings of a large city with the charm and green surroundings of a regional town. Linz is also a major transportation hub offering numerous possibilities to quickly reach many European cities by car, plane, or train. All IT:U facilities are inside the Science Park 4 building, which is right next to Johannes Kepler University.

By car
Coming from the A1 motorway, take the exit E55/A7 Praha/Freistadt/Linz. Follow the A7 motorway and cross the Danube. Leave the motorway at exit number 15 “Dornach”. Drive straight across the “Freistädter Straße” intersection taking the direction of Johannes Kepler University. Follow the “Altenberger Straße” until you get to Johannes Kepler University. IT:U is located on the left-hand side opposite the main entrance of Johannes Kepler University. You will find us in Science Park 4.
Parking
Use the parking spaces P2 and P3. It’s only a short walk by foot to Science Park 4.
By public transport
Take the train to Linz main station. Go downstairs to take the tram line 1 or 2 to “Universität”. It takes about 25 minutes until you get to the stop “Universität”. Walk straight ahead towards JKU/the university campus. Then turn right into the Science Park. Science Park 4 is located at the back and just about a 5-minute walk away.
By plane
Linz/Hörsching airport is about 19 km from IT:U. From the airport, take the bus line 601 to the main train station. Take the tram line 1 or 2 to “Universität”. Walk straight ahead towards JKU/the university campus. Then turn right into the Science Park. Science Park 4 is located at the back and just about a 5-minute walk away.
