Pinyao Liu
Pinyao Liu is a China-born, Canada-based artist and researcher working at the intersection of dream science, generative AI, and immersive technology. His practice combines cognitive science, spatial computing, and artistic inquiry to explore how technology can enhance dreamwork practice. His broader research explores generative AI and immersive technology for altered states of consciousness and transformative experiences. His interactive artwork has been exhibited at the 13th Shanghai Biennale at Shanghai Contemporary Art Museum, Ars Electronica Festival, and IEEE VR XR Gallery. His research has been published in The ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI), ACM SIGGRAPH, and the Leonardo Journal by MIT Press.
