IT:U Collaborates with VisConnect to Enhance Global Research Evaluation
IT:U Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria has announced a partnership with VisConnect to transform research assessment. This collaboration aims to transcend traditional metrics and highlight exceptional interdisciplinary research globally using AI-powered visualizations.
VisConnect’s advanced AI-driven visual discovery techniques will help IT:U to identify and evaluate outstanding interdisciplinary research. In facilitating the evaluation of world-leading research, VisConnect will have broad applications:
- Aiding faculty in finding suitable collaborators and identifying reviewers for publications and grant applications,
- Enabling students to quickly identify the leading scholars in any particular field, and
- Supporting staff in recruiting outstanding interdisciplinary researchers.
Prof. Dr. Stefanie Lindstaedt, founding president of the IT:U Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria, emphasized the collaboration’s importance. She stated that IT:U’s focus is on showcasing world-class interdisciplinary research and that their mission is to connect interdisciplinary researchers.
