Short bio:
Kristin Reiche is a Professor of Digital Molecular Medicine at IT:U. Through her research focus on digital solutions and computational models that integrate data from molecular biology, she aims to make medicine more personalized and effective.
She studied Computer Science (major) and Medical Informatics (minor) at Leipzig University, where she also completed her PhD in Bioinformatics.
Kristin Reiche is Head of the Department of Medical Bioinformatics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology (IZI), a Principal Investigator at the Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (ScaDS.AI), and a Fellow at the School of Embedded Composite Artificial Intelligence (SECAI). She is an Associate Editor at BMC Bioinformatics, founding member of the T2Evolve Association (T2Evolve e.V.), and a member of the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR). Kristin Reiche serves as Principal Investigator on multiple research projects and coordinates the Horizon Europe project CERTAINTY — A cellular immunotherapy virtual twin for personalised cancer treatment.
