Alessio Borgi
I am a highly motivated master’s student in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at Sapienza
University of Rome, with a strong foundation in Applied Computer Science and AI (BSc with
Honours, 110/110). My experience spans cutting-edge research and applied innovation,
with a particular focus on natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, diffusion
models, and graph neural networks. I have contributed to industrial real-world AI solutions
as an AI \& ML Research Intern at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where I developed a
multivariate anomaly detection pipeline for 5G networks, earning honorable mention best
paper award. My academic research has been internationally recognized, including a Best
Paper Award at DeepMind’s M2L Summer School. I am the first author of a CVPR 2025
Workshop paper on zero-shot style alignment in generative diffusion models and have built
a broad portfolio of open-source AI projects across domains like medical robotics,
autonomous navigation, and graph learning.Driven by curiosity and a strong commitment to
continual learning, I thrive in fast-paced, interdisciplinary environments where research
meets application. I aim to leverage AI to solve complex, real-world problems with rigor,
creativity, and impact.
I’m a curious and driven AI & Robotics student at Sapienza, passionate about turning
