Elpiniki Prinianaki
Short bio:
Elpiniki Prinianaki has an interdisciplinary study background in law and computational social systems, with a specialization in human factors. She is now a PhD student in the Human Rights and Technology research group at IT:U. Her research interests include the regulation of existing and emerging technologies, especially in areas where technological advances have significant implications for fundamental rights. She is particularly interested in the European Union’s evolving digital regulatory landscape, specifically the Digital Services Act and the AI Act, and how these frameworks seek to balance innovation with accountability, transparency, and the protection of individual rights.
