Her research focusses on team learning and the support of cross-functional team learning processes through both human and material facilitators. Coming from a University of Applied Sciences, with a background in education, the applicability of science is important to her. Most of her research findings have been translated into practical guidelines and workshops. Her research designs are mostly multiple case studies with a mixed methods approach.
