Kanishka Ghosh Dastidar
Short bio:
Kanishka Ghosh Dastidar is a Postdoctoral Researcher working at the intersection of information retrieval and intelligent agents. His research vision is to investigate how the information retrieval paradigm will be transformed as agents increasingly search for, retrieve, and process information. His current research focuses on developing agentic retrieval methods for complex real-world problems, such as disaster detection. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Passau, where his research focused on developing neural network architectures for fraud detection. His broader research interests include natural language processing, social media analysis, and LLM agent behaviour.
