Ehsaneddin Jalilian
Short bio:
Ehsaneddin Jalilian is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Geo-social Artificial Intelligence Research Group at IT:U. He holds a PhD in Computer Sciences from Salzburg University and a Master degree in Information Technology from Klagenfurt University. His research has been primarily focused on computer vision, machine learning and neural networks. Ehsaneddin’s long-term research aims to explore the intersection of multimodal machine learning and natural language processing, with applications in urban research, disaster management, and epidemiology, among other fields. Besides various scientific publications, he has actively contributed to the academic community as an organizing committee member for a number of international conferences and served as a reviewer for several scientific journals (e.g. IEEE access, IEEE transactions, Information Sciences, etc.). In addition to his research endeavor, he has spent a couple of years as an automation engineer in a microfluidic chip development corporation, where he honed his skills in creating microfluidic chip auto inspection systems.
