Sonja Rattay

Short bio:

Sonja Rattay is a designer and researcher of the interplay of ethics in practice, industry and technical practices. She uses ethnography, co-design and speculative design to analyse moral dimensions of everyday tech practices and prototype new modes of engagement for ethical deliberation. Sonja was a PhD fellow of the Marie-Curie funded European design research network DCODE, and a co-founder of the design and innovation studio Block Zero in Malmo. She has studied interaction design, communication design, gender studies and neuroscience in Sweden, Germany and Australia.
