Andreas Kramer
Short bio
Andreas Kramer is a student research assistant with the Geosocial AI group at IT:U, where he contributes to ongoing research on relevance classification in spatiotemporal social sensing data. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Idaho State University, where he also works as a Graduate Assistant. His broader research interests span neural integral operators for brain imaging, emotional modeling in generative AI systems, and related areas in applied mathematics and multimodal machine learning.
Andreas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has previously worked on NIH-funded neural modeling projects in the U.S. as well as geospatial data analysis at the University of Salzburg. With a background spanning neuroscience, machine learning, and human-centered systems, he is passionate about developing AI models that are transparent, emotionally responsive, and grounded in real-world challenges.
