Karima Hadj-Rabah
Karima is a researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory through the NASA Postdoctoral Program, where she works on the development of advanced algorithms for retrieving forest height from ESA BIOMASS and NASA UAVSAR data. Her research focuses on remote sensing for environmental monitoring, with a particular emphasis on radar remote sensing applications. Prior to joining JPL, she was a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at the EO Analytics group within the Department of Geoinformatics (Z_GIS), University of Salzburg, where she also contributed to the EU Copernicus Digital Earth initiative. Her work combines Earth observation, geospatial analysis, and environmental science, contributing to international publications and scientific dissemination. She is actively engaged in academia through teaching, student supervision, and collaborative research projects.
