Michael Mihocic

Michael Mihocic is a consultant for the Audio Lab, overseeing acquisitions and coordinating project collaborations. Since 2005, he has been working at the Acoustics Research Institute (ARI) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) in Vienna, focusing on spatial audio, sound localization, and auditory perception. He develops research tools such as the SOFA Toolbox, SOFA Standard and the AMToolbox, conducts psychoacoustic studies, performs acoustic measurements, and manages the lab facilities. He also serves on the board of the Austrian section of the Audio Engineering Society (AES).
