Marija Fileva
Marija Fileva, PhD, holds a doctorate in Business Law from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting PhD researcher at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and the Europa-Institut at Saarland University in Germany. In recognition of her academic excellence, she was awarded several prestigious scholarships, including the DAAD Leonhard Euler Scholarship (2022) and the DAAD Higher Education Dialogue (2023).
Ms. Fileva previously served as Adviser to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia for the Berlin Process and cooperation in Southeast Europe. In this role, she contributed significantly to initiatives aimed at fostering economic development and aligning the region with the EU Digital Single Market.
Currently, she is the Business Development Manager at Macedonian-Austrian IT outsourcing company specializing in software development, IT support, and high-tech solutions. She is also a scholarship holder in the „Interdisciplinary Digital Innovation – Transforming Ideas into Impact“ program at IT:U – Interdisciplinary Transformation University in Austria – one of Europe’s leading public universities dedicated to digitalization and digital transformation. During the program at IT:U, she also served as the Business Development Manager for her team, working alongside colleagues from diverse fields including data science, software development, and engineering. Together, they developed a prototype for an educational game that incorporated innovative visualizations and real-time data integration.
Ms. Fileva is deeply focused on driving business growth through strategic planning, building strong client relationships and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance services and open new markets. With extensive experience in international negotiations and agreement finalization, she brings strong skills in risk assessment, issue identification and implementation improvement. Her doctoral research has gained wide recognition, leading to invitations to present at numerous international conferences. In addition to her academic work, she has completed numerous internationally recognized professional development programs across various countries in the past 15 years.
